Cape Coral Parkway Improvement Project

This project is complete.

Purpose
Under this project, the City of Cape Coral Transportation Department made roadway improvements along Cape Coral Parkway from Coronado Parkway to Del Prado Boulevard. Improvements being made as part of this project consisted of removing asphalt (milling) and resurfacing, signalization and median modifications.

Schedule
This project began June 2011 and was completed in fall 2011.

Lane Closures
Periodic lane closures occured throughout the duration of this project. Lane closures occured nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. Road Watch updates were sent as needed to all Media Partners and Stakeholders communicating potential impacts to traffic.
